Western Sports Business House semis this week

The Western Sports-sponsored Business House Six-A-Side football league and knockout competitions reach the semi-finals stage this week, with matches scheduled for Tuesday and Thursday. All games will take place at the Barbican Astro Turf.

With tight defensive battles and dramatic penalty shootouts marking the quarter-final battles, fans can expect another thrilling set of matches as the remaining teams fight for a place in the finals and the coveted Western Sports league and knockout trophies.

Two exciting matchups will highlight Tuesday's knockout semi-finals. At 6 p.m., Creative Building Finishes will tackle Loshusan Supermarket, and then at 7 p.m., Spectrum Roofing will go up against ZS Limited.

The league competition is also down to its final four, with the battle for final placings taking place on Thursday. Jamaica Premix and Celebration Brands will kick off Thursday's action at 6 p.m., followed by Edgechem Paints and Spectrum Roofing at 7 p.m.

Jamaica Premix advanced after defeating ZS Limited 2-0 on penalties following a goalless draw. Celebration Brands also progressed via penalties, edging KPMG 3-2 after a scoreless match.

Edgechem Paints booked their semi-final spot courtesy of a hard fought 1-0 victory over Berger Paints; and Spectrum Roofing secured the last semi-final spot with a 1-0 win over First Global Bank.
