Man arrested for 2024 murder

Twenty-five-year-old Richard Folks, otherwise called 'Sutty', of Arnett Gardens, Kingston 12, has been charged with the murder of 24-year-old Mark Ffrench otherwise called 'Dada' of East Road, Kingston 12 on January 31, 2024.

Folks has also been charged with possession of prohibited weapon, unauthorised possession of ammunition and use of a firearm to commit a felony. Reports from the Denham Town police are that an investigation implicated Folks in the shooting death of Ffrench. Folks, after months on the run, turned himself in to the police and was charged after he was pointed out on an identification parade and a question and answer session in the presence his attorney.

A court date for him is being finalised.
