Twins charged with stealing bikes, ATVs
Three men, two of whom the police say are twins, have been charged with housebreaking, larceny and receiving stolen property following an incident at a warehouse in Cousins Cove, Green Island, Hanover, between June 23 and August 3.
Charged are 28-year-old deliveryman Kevorne James, 28-year-old mechanic Keddon James, both of Morningside Drive, Montego Bay, St James, and 35-year-old Derrick Robinson, otherwise called 'Biggs', a chef of Dr Chang Boulevard, Norwood, also in St James. Reports from the Montego Bay police are that on three separate occasions between the aforementioned dates, the men broke into a warehouse and stole Missile motorcycles and ATV bikes amounting to more than $20 million. A report was made to the police and a list of the stolen motorcycles, inclusive of their engine and chassis numbers handed over to them. In August, all three men were arrested in during a police operation, and the motorcycles recovered. The men were remanded in custody.
On September 1, the three men were charged for the offences, after interviews were conducted in the presence of their attorneys. Their court dates are being finalised.
