Free entry at Eastern Extravaganza

Judah Nugent, one of the promoters, Eastern entertainment promotions, said the New Year's Day event will deliver nothing short of crazy vibe.

"This is the sixth staging. This year we have 41 artistes on the bill ... . Every artiste billed for the event normally turn out, unless it's for a reason beyond their control," Nugent said.

Eastern Extravaganza will be held at the Mountain View Oval and features headliners Bounty Killer, Beenie Man, Tony Rebel, Capleton and Sizzla.

"We begin at 8 p.m. sharpe and go up until 5 a.m. Every artiste billed will be able to perform," Nugent told THE WEEKEND STAR.

There is no charge for entry.

"Patrons can see their favourite artistes for free; otherwise, they would have to pay to see them at another event. This is the sixth year, as I said before, and we are grateful it has been six years incident-free."

Nugent also told THE WEEKEND STAR that his team, which compromises Rayon Thompson, Desperado, Dunstan Baker, are capable of delivering a superb event.
