Mother and son found dead in Portmore home

The St Catherine South police are investigating the mysterious death of a mother and her son whose bodies were found at their home in Portmore Pines Housing Scheme on Wednesday.

Sandria Murray, 52, and her 33-year-old son Shaon Barnes were found about 1 p.m. in their home on Breadnut Street in Portmore, St Catherine.

The STAR gathered that the discovery was made when a friend went to visit. The police were summoned and the bodies removed to the morgue.

Information reaching THE STAR is that a tea kettle and sample from a tea cup were taken to the lab for testing. The scene were processed and the investigations are ongoing.
