Ambelique spreads love with new single

Recording artiste Ambelique is expressing his love through his recently released track, When You Love Someone, which features veteran deejay Hawkeye.

"The song is about what you do when you love someone. You have to make it show and let them know that this is how you feel about them," Ambelique explained.

The track combines reggae and dancehall to create a high energy sound which has been resonating with listeners. The positive feedback so far is a testament to the quality of the production and the artiste has great expectations for it to continue performing well.

"My hope for this track is to re-establish myself as a viable artiste in the business. I want to show the world that I'm still here and I'm still capable," he said.

Ambelique has been in the music business for some time, having been a prodigy for powerhouse production duo Sly and Robbie back in 1995 when he released the tracks, Quando Quando and Penny Lover. The duo also produced his first album, Ambelique Sings The Classics.

The artiste recently worked with Heavy Beats in Florida on several remixes, namely Never Found Me A Girl by Eddy Flores and Outside Looking In by Little Anthony and The Imperials. Since they were released in 2021 in the heights of the pandemic, they did not get the heavy promotion as intended. So, the artiste is ramping up the publicity on them.

Ambelique is currently working on several new tracks with Sly, as well as a full-length album that is expected to be released later in the year.
