Gospel artiste releases love song

In a bold and surprising move, gospel artiste Minister Blessed has released his first love song, 'You Are The One'.

Minister Blessed said he did the song in dedication to his wife as they celebrated their second wedding anniversary on January 4. The song was officially released on social media one week later; and takes the form of a wedding music video.

Minister Blessed said the video has received very good responses, getting 1500 views, 100 likes, 25 comments and 16 shares within 24 hours of its release.

"In admiration for the love demonstrated in the song and video, the people have given thumbs up for this one. Fellow artistes and disc jockeys in the industry have also blessed the move, and are encouraging more love songs to come from within the Kingdom," he said.

While the song is just now being officially released, it does appear as track No. 7 on Minister Blessed's recently-released album, God Is Faithful, which is available on online platforms such as iTunes and Amazon.

The artiste had previously performed the song as a surprise treat to his wife; much to the delight of fans attending his album launch last October.

The song was produced by Andrae Palmer for Remla Productions, while the video edits were done by Andrew McKenley. Gospel singer Chris Lawrence provided the soothing background vocals.
