Two self-professed vampires from Texas have set up their own Dracula-inspired community.

Daley Catherine and Logan South who insist they are the real deal avoid sunlight and spend their lives awake in the dark after waking up after 3 p.m.

Daley told the Daily Star: "I go to bed around 7 or 8 a.m. and wake up around 3 or 4.

"I usually check social media and emails first while having breakfast, then go feed and spend time with wolfdogs as the sun sets.

"Lunch is around 8 or 9 p.m. with dinner anywhere between midnight and 3 a.m."

According to Daley, there are an estimated 50,000 vampires in America. Her group of 60 meet for blood and cheese once a month.

She added: "Being a vampire is something one is born with and awakens to in life.

"While we do sometimes enjoy partaking in a vampire lifestyle, it is not the same thing as being a real vampire."

A 'real-life Rapunzel' hasn't had a haircut in 28 years.

Alena Kravchenko whose hair was at her knees by her early 30s revealed she sometimes trips up on her luscious locks, which are now two metres long.

The 33-year-old Ukrainian woman proudly told local media: "There is nothing more beautiful in the world than a woman with natural, flowing hair."

Alena who is a mother of two added she now finds pleasure in wearing her hair down as she often styles it in a bun for convenience when looking after her daughters.

She said: "It's now become a bit of a treat to let my hair down, because it is far more comfortable, as in a bun it can be quite heavy."

University of Missouri students were stunned when a large dairy cow appeared on campus to make a cameo in a graduation photo shoot.

The Columbia Missourian reported that senior animal sciences major Massimo Montalbano brought the three-year-old animal, named Amelia, to join his commencement photo shoot.

Massimo worked with the cattle during his undergraduate studies at the University's Foremost Dairy Research Centre.

He told the Missourian: "I've worked at the dairy basically all throughout college. I bonded with all of the (the cows), and she's one of my favourites. I just gave her a bath this morning."

He initially presented the idea to Jim Spain - the vice for undergraduate studies - who referred him to the operations department, who in turn approved the request.

According to Jim, it is not the first time a student has asked him to bring a cow to campus but it was still a rare sight to unsuspecting bystanders.

A determined Swedish woman has had three Brazilian butt lifts in her quest for "the world's biggest bum".

Natasha Crown has gone to extraordinary lengths over the last four years to get closer to the title.

The 24-year-old lady told 'Botched' producers: "I have broken chairs from my butt. I have broken beds. I have broken people."

She also revealed that she gained 44 pounds after her first procedure in an attempt to make her behind bigger.

She recalled: "I knew the more fat I have, the bigger my bum's going to be.

"So I decided to gain a lot of weight. I love to eat. I gained 20 kilos (44 pounds), and then I did the second surgery.

"My goal is to have the world's biggest bum, and nothing is going to stop me from achieving my goal."

Natasha has also had breast implants and fillers in her chin, lips and cheekbones.
