Two dead in early morning accident

Two people died as a result of an accident this morning along the Temple Hall main road in St Andrew.

Three people, including a child, have been rushed to hospital.

Those killed, a male and a female, were passengers in a blue Mitsubishi Lancer motor car heading towards Kingston.

The driver of the Mitsubishi is among those rushed to hospital.

The dead woman has been identified as 25-year-old Taren Campbell-Boden.

The dead man remains unknown.

The crash happened when the motor car collided with a Toyota Coaster bus which was heading in the opposite direction.

Two occupants of the bus were rushed to hospital.

The details of the crash have not yet been ascertained.

Fire brigade officials had to ‎cut their way through the mangled car to extract the injured driver and dead passengers.
