Dino Williams eyeing a move to Waterhouse

August 09, 2019

Discarded national striker Dino Williams has hinted that he could suit up for the Red Stripe Premier League (RSPL) club Waterhouse in the upcoming season, which is set to begin in September.

The 29-year-old Williams, who is regarded as one of the most lethal strikers in the RSPL, was limited to just 13 games for Montego Bay United (MBU) last season due to a groin injury.

But he still managed to score five goals for MBU, who was relegated from the RSPL at the end of last season.

Williams said that he is now over the injury and he has been working very hard on his own to ensure that he would be fully fit in time for the start of the league.

"I have not joined any club as yet because I am still thinking, but I have Waterhouse in mind," said Williams.

"I talked to coach Fuzzy (Marcel Gayle) at the last game of the season because we played them last and me and him had a talk and so they are looking forward to seeing me.

"They are always one of my favourite clubs, but I am just holding out and see what is what first before I make a move," Williams said.

Williams is still contracted to MBU who will be playing in the Western Confederation Super League for the upcoming season. He says that he would most definitely be plying his trade somewhere in the top league.

"I have been training on my own because I have recovered pretty good from the injury," Williams said. "I am not feeling any pain in my groin and so that is a plus for me," he said.

"I will be playing top-flight football next season contract or no contract. If I want, then I am going to make the move and so definitely, I will be playing in the top league next season," he said.
