Just weeks ago, Judith Sewell had no idea how she would handle the back-to-school expenses for two of her three children.

Although she worked at a postal agency, a series of unfortunate events left her struggling financially. But her prayers were answered recently when two good Samaritans, Kareem Thomas and his wife Kadija, assisted the single mother with $100,000 through their Mantled Unshakeable online ministry.

"My kids are now in school. This money has taken us a far way because we had nothing, no food or anything. I am very grateful for this. I always let my children know that God is a provider so when I pray and I see the blessing comes, I let my kids know that is God who did this. This one is big and it may not look big to some, but for someone to give you a $100,000 for you children, it is a whole lot and I want to tell prophet and his wife thanks from the bottom of my heart," she said.

Sewell said her life went downhill after her husband Charles was murdered in October 2023. But prior to that, Sewell said their house was damaged by heavy rain, followed by fire. She also had to use money she had saved to care for her mother's medical needs.

"When it was both of us (herself and Charles), we used to join hands and make things work. What he could do, I cannot do it. He died just after we purchased our first vehicle and I loaned it to someone and the person mash it up. I left it all to God because I know what God said about the widow and the fatherless," she said. Sewell recalled days when she couldn't go to work and couldn't tell her boss why.

"It is easier to be with your children at home and they are hungry and you fight it through together. Every area things just got hard, but I am holding it for my girls. I have to borrow to try and make things meet, but thankfully I keep the loans in one place. But in the sense of going back to school, there wouldn't be any money," Sewell added.

But a month ago, she learnt about a giveaway during one of the Thomas' live TikTok sessions.

"I am a regular on Prophet Kareem live because I realised he was a real one. I said I didn't want to apply because people are going to say that I am always on the live, so it would be a preference thing. But I hear God say I should go forth and do it and when I get the money, I should give him back his one tenth. I went and I stated my claim," she said.

Sewell said the night before the recipient was announced, she gathered her children and prayed earnestly.

"People were telling me that I have God and I should have faith. But, when you have children and you can't do anything for them, it is terrible. As a mother, you don't even realise that you carry an anointing. The next day I was at work and my name was selected and I went into the bathroom and I wept before God," she said.

Thomas told THE STAR that the Holy Spirit instructed him to assist a single parent as the new school year approached.

"My wife and I both prayed about it and we came up with the same name, although over 20 persons applied. As a Christian, we should always get into the place of kingdom living and that is living for others. If I cannot live for Christ, then I cannot truly live for Christ and he was never for himself, he was always for the people," Thomas said.
