Mom hiccups for 7 years

A mum hasn't stopped hiccuping for seven years. Lisa Graves, 27, has been hiccuping up to 100 times a day for over half a decade, and the doctors are baffled by her unusual aliment.

She said: "I hiccup every hour without fail, it's really loud it almost sounds like a scream. Some people have even said I sound like a dinosaur."

The mystery illness began when she fell pregnant in January 2008 and since then, the mum-of-two has tried everything to try and cure it.

It has even affected life with her husband, Matthew.

She added: "I avoid going anywhere quiet in case I hiccup, I choose not to go to quiet romantic restaurants and the cinema is a no go."
