Flyght wants women to ‘Bruk Weh’
Having listened to the complaints of some of dancehall's leading female dancers, Flyght, formerly known as Bluugo, says he's making it his duty to get the women in dancehall 'wining again'.
In his latest single, ' Bruk Weh', produced by New Wavz Entertainment, the 2018 Magnum King encourages women to let loose and show off their wild side, because to him, they've stood still in dancehall for far too long.
"It is a song that will bring out the fun side in dancehall. It's like the Spice and Kartel Backway vibe. It has an energy the ladies love because a long time dem wah get wild," he said. " Bruk Weh is needed because the ladies dem nuh really have nuh song dem dance to like dat. Di only song the woman dem really take on to like is Spice Cool It and now Bruk Weh drop and me even a get the likes from Spice dancers dem. Dem a tell me say, there's something about this song and me know say me find it with this song. People a compare it to Razor B when him did do Hot Up, so me know me find a good piece a material."
VISUALS TO BE RELEASED
With the song getting love in the streets since its official release two months ago, Flyght says he wants to take the next step, as far as promotion goes. He is planning on releasing the visuals for the song this weekend, and he's hoping the video will generate even more buzz for the track. "The video is going to be very epic because if you name all the iconic female dancers in the dancehall right now, dem have a piece inna di video. From the Danny Boo to the Chin Unique, 90 per cent of the best are in the video. They've been saying dem dying for this because a long time no video nuh shoot weh so nice and exciting," he said. "We have four different scenes that make up the video and it's going to be a whole heap a creative stuff. Shelly Belly inna the video too and him gwaan wid a bagga supmn."
Pointing out that he has always been one to please his female audience, Flyght says he's happy he has found a song that will make women want to "bruk weh" when they go to dancehall sessions. "I was always told by my engineers and my managers that me must always appeal to the girls dem, because once me please the ladies, me can't go wrong. I'm in the business of supply and demand. Dem wah bruk weh, so me a gi dem supmn fi make dem bruk weh."
