Hebrue mixes sounds on new single
Fast-rising dancehall artiste Hebrue has fused his modern sound with an old-school melody on his most recent release, Dat A Nuh Wi Style.
The track, which was produced by Chris Neil, Troyton Music and Ngozi Records, hit all digital stores on July 30.
Hebrue said that the feedback has been positive thus far.
"My fans who have heard the song feel it has the potential to cross over into the international market, and I have to agree. I am working on bringing the single as far as it can reach," he said.
With the phenomenal feedback he has been receiving, Hebrue teamed up with director Icey Jace Films and shot the video for the single in the communities of Hermitage in the August Town area and Love Lane in downtown Kingston. The video is set to be released soon.
"The single is full of potential. The way I laid my flow on the beat makes the song different but at the same time relatable as to what's happening in the island right now. I have high hopes for this one," said the artiste.
While busy promoting his hit single, Hebrue said that he is also working on a new project produced by international producer Troyton Music and his album, which is set to be released late next year.
"I will be releasing an album in coming months. The album will have something for everyone, every track will be relatable and positive. I aim to bring forth music that is fit for every platform and every demographic. This makes my work more widely acceptable," he said.
